Contributors to
Groking Wholeness
Groking Wholeness accepts essays, articles, videos and other submissions from qualified subject matter experts, practitioners, clinicians, scholars, journalists, philosophers, scientists and academics in the fields of physical, mental or spiritual health, psychology (including clinical psychology), medicine, psychiatry, consciousness studies, ecology, ecosystems, permaculture, sustainability and others, provided that the subject matter is directly relevant to our goals.

Please note that submitting an essay, article, video and/or similar material automatically grants to Groking Wholeness a free, irrevocable, permanent, non-exclusive license under the copyright thereto, to publish said submission through any means, electronic or otherwise, worldwide and in any language, for the duration of the copyright, both in text, audio or video formats. By submitting your works, you will also be representing that you have the right to grant said license to Groking Wholeness and are not infringing the copyright of any third party. Finally, Groking Wholeness reserves the right to decide on the final title of the works and associated illustration(s), as well as to perform minor editing of the text or video for readability, understandability and to insure conformity to the style of our website, YouTube channel and our other social media outlets.
Your essay, video or other works can be submitted by going to our Contact Us page and providing information about the subject matter and a brief summary of what you would like to contribute. We will get back to you via email as soon as we can.
Upon submission of your work to our review board, we will review the work and, if approved, you will receive email notification from us.

Criteria for submissions
Your submission must include your name, contact information including email address, and a high-quality face image of yourself that can be included with the work.

You are a qualified subject matter expert, practitioner, clinician, scholar, journalist, scientist, philosopher or academic in a pertinent field.

The subject of your work is directly relevant to the Groking Wholeness mission.

The work is written or spoken in English, following American spelling.

The work contains a maximum of 3,000 words, excluding bibliographical references and title. For videos or audio files the duration should be 15 minutes or less.

The work is accurate, but also written for the general educated public, with a minimum of jargon.

Short, direct sentences are preferred for written works.

The work is self-explanatory.

For written works, no footnotes and minimal use of parenthetical clarifications.

The submission file is editable and has no custom formatting apart from emphasis through italics for written works.

Bibliographical references for written works are inserted as numbered endnotes in plain text (as opposed to e.g., the custom endnote format of Word for Windows).
