To the portal for information and tools about conscious evolution of wholeness

Groking Wholeness is a journey towards achieving a state of complete integration and harmony within oneself and within the larger world. It involves the unification of various aspects of one's life (body, mind and spirit) to create a balanced and holistic existence not only within oneself but with others and in the larger environment where we live – one's home and beyond – one's ecosystem.
The Future of Humanity: Homo Noeticus - the challenge and the opportunity
All meaningful and lasting change starts locally, then spreads globally. The challenge is to evolve in our body, mind, spirit and in our collective consciousness. The opportunity is to build a world which we all intuitively know we want to live in.
Homo Noeticus: an evolved form of humanity characterized by a higher state of being, a state beyond egocentric consciousness, one that is in tune and harmony, a Oneness, with the consciousness of all of nature and the cosmos.
“If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change.
As a person changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards them.”
- Mahatma Gandhi
"A true desire is not to have but to be. We are whole creatures in potential, and the true purpose of desire is to unfold that wholeness, to become what we can be."
Eric Butterworth

The journey of wholeness promotes healing and restoration. As one works to overcome personal and external disharmony, or chaos and conflict to reach a state of wholeness that encompasses both inner and outer health, a state of peace and harmony will be cultivated within yourself and your environment. This process involves practices of paying attention to your innate inner awareness of body and mind to help you align your lifestyle to connect with a deeper sense of health, meaning, purpose and unity.

When you follow inner wisdom, you find that you are not only deeply connected with yourself and all others, but also with Nature (Source, God, Spirit, Love or whatever term resonates most).
Each of the petals of the regenerative flower above represents an aspect of the information and tools that we hope will help inform you to move down the path of wholeness and fullfillment.
Good luck on your journey of wholeness!
If your life is not as you would like it to be, if you have unresolved physical or mental trauma, if you feel resistance to change, if you are feeling a sense of despair or hopelessness, if you are uncomfortable with something in your surroundings, if you feel stuck or that you have untapped potential, then wander around the petals of our regenerative flower (or click here or on the "Wholeness" menu item at the top of this page). They just might take you to a page that speaks directly to you, and reveals something you need to hear at this moment in time.
“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.”
— Rachel Carson
where everything has remained in balance since life first arose. Our ancestors evolved from it and it continues to sustain all living creatures on our planet. Everything has always been recycled and reused by nature. Nothing has ever been wasted. That is until now. We live in a planetary ecosystem
The path to wholeness requires that we also live in harmony with our external environment less we destroy ourselves and all other creatures with which we share this earth.

Our consciousness is how we know, experience and act in the external world (through our perceptual senses, sight, sound, touch, etc.) and, internally, ourselves (endogenously through our bodily sensations, thoughts, feelings and intuitive insights). So, if we want to understand the world and ourselves, we better understand our consciousness.

If there is no consciousness, there is only oblivion; there would be no existence. Consciousness is a state of being; through it, we experience the world and everything in it. We do not see the world as it is, but only through the filters of our conscious minds.
.
What exactly is it and how do we know it? What distinguishes our consciousness from that of other animals, a dog, or a cat, or other less evolved brains? Do we even need a brain to have consciousness? What are higher states of consciousness? What about non-ordinary states of consciousness; What about transcendent experiences?
